Catlog 08182022: Clear for takeoff.

As with any preflight, there are things that must be checked in a specific order. I speak to you from experience. I am the one that can be the cause of the safety meeting the following morning.

Seen here I am conducting check item 14 (maximum aero mode). Just before transitioning into aero mode by completely flattening myself out, I also reroute a little power into forward lighting to conduct that check item and save some time. You know…..play it safe incase things get real. Guess what? Go time…

Check item 15: The back quake. A few steps prior to takeoff, there is a small area within my lower back that will twitch sharply. It is said to mimic the kinetic energy which is released during an earthquake. It makes the authorities laugh loudly and for this I am annoyed. This also seamlessly alerts the tower controllers (the authorities) and makes them aware of my intentions. “Roll on 2”.

As a bonus, tower departure was able to capture this image which is a mere 3 milliseconds prior to liftoff. Notice how the sheer thrust ever so delicately destroys the runway. Go for rotate. I am speed.

Permission to buzz the tower…
